Show that if $A \subset B$ then $C - B \subset C - A.$

Answer

Let $x \in C - B \Rightarrow x \in C$ and $x \notin B$
$\Rightarrow x \in C$ and $x \notin A$ $[\because A \subset B]$
$\Rightarrow x \in C - A$ Hence $C - B \subset C - A.$
