$ =(3 x)^2+(2 y)^2+2 x 3 x \times 2 y+(3 x)^2+(2 y)^2-2 \times 3 x \times 2 y $
$ =9 x^2+4 y^2+12 x y+9 x^2+4 y^2-12 x y $
$ =\left(9 x^2+9 x^2\right)+\left(4 y^2+4 y^2\right)+12 x y-12 x y $
$ =18 x^2+8 y^2 $
