Either $2 x-5=0$,
then $2 x=5$

\Rightarrow x =\frac{5}{2}
$
or
$
3 x+7=0
$
then $3 x=-7$
$
\Rightarrow x =\frac{-7}{3}
$
Hence $x=\frac{5}{2}, \frac{-7}{3}$.
