$a=2 ; b=-2 \sqrt{6} x ; c=3 $
$D=b^2-4 a c$
$ =(-2 \text { sqrt } 6)^2-4(2)(3)$
$ =12-24 $
$ =-12$
$ x=\frac{-b \pm \sqrt{b^2-4 a c}}{2 a} $
$ x=\frac{2 \sqrt{6} \pm \sqrt{-12}}{2}$
$ x=\frac{2 \sqrt{6}}{4}$
$ x=\frac{\sqrt{6}}{2}$

$D=b^2-4 a c$
