Question
Solve $x^2-\frac{11}{4} x+\frac{15}{8}=0$

Answer

$x^2-\frac{11}{4} x+\frac{15}{8}=0$
$\Rightarrow \frac{8 x^2-22 x+15}{8}=0$
$ \Rightarrow 8 x^2-22 x+15=0$
$ \Rightarrow 8 x^2-12 x-10 x+15=0$
$ \Rightarrow 4 x(2 x-3)-5(2 x-3)=0 $
$ \Rightarrow(2 x-3)(4 x-5)=0 $
$ \Rightarrow 2 x-3=0 \text { or } 4 x-5=0$
$ \Rightarrow x=\frac{3}{2} \text { or } x=\frac{5}{4}$
