State the different ways in which urbanization takes place.

Generally urbanisation happens in $3$ different ways.
$(1)$ In the town or city population increases due to low death rate and high birth rate which is called natural growth of population.
$(2)$ Sometime with the change in definition of town or city many rural areas are included in urban areas and there is increase in the population of town. e.g. Ahmedabad, Baroda, Surat, Rajkot etc.
$(3)$ Population of city area increases due to migration of people from rural to urban area.
