$ =7 x^2-2 x y-4 y^2-\left(5 x^2-3 x y+y^2\right)$
$ =7 x^2-2 x y-4 y^2-5 x^2+3 x y-y^2 $
$ =2 x^2+x y-5 y^2$
$ =2 x^2-5 y^2+x y $
