→ Namdev He wrote his devotional compositions in the Marathi language. His works mainly focused on devotion to Lord Vithoba, a form of Lord Krishna and his love for the divine.
→ Al-Ghazzali He was a renowned Islamic scholar, wrote in the Arabic language. He emphasised on Sufism, a mystical form of Islam, promoting the inner journey towards God through personal spiritual experience and devotion.
