Sum of two complementary angles = 90°
Let first angle = x
Then second = 90° - x
x - (90° - x) = 8
⇒ x - 90° + x = 8
⇒ 2x = 8 + 90°
⇒ 2x = 98°
⇒ x = 49°
First angle = 49°
And second angle = 90° - 49° = 41°
Hence angles are 41°, 49°
Let first angle = x
Then second = 90° - x
x - (90° - x) = 8
⇒ x - 90° + x = 8
⇒ 2x = 8 + 90°
⇒ 2x = 98°
⇒ x = 49°
First angle = 49°
And second angle = 90° - 49° = 41°
Hence angles are 41°, 49°
