$(3x – 2y) (2x + y)$
$= (3x \times 2x) + (3x \times y) + (−2y \times 2x) + (−2y \times y)= 6x^2 + 3xy − 4xy − 2y^{2 }$
$= 6x^2 − xy − 2y^2$
$= (3x \times 2x) + (3x \times y) + (−2y \times 2x) + (−2y \times y)= 6x^2 + 3xy − 4xy − 2y^{2 }$
$= 6x^2 − xy − 2y^2$
