Framing of Constitution and Its Features (Updated) — Social Science STD 9 — Question

The constitution-makers have made provisions for three types of emergencies:
→ National Emergency is proclaimed by the President for the whole of India or a part thereof when the security and territorial integrity is threatened by war, external aggression or internal rebellion.
→ Constitutional Emergency in state is proclaimed by the President on receiving report regarding the breakdown of the constitutional machinery from the Governor of the state.
→ Financial Emergency is proclaimed by the President when the financial stability and credibility is under threat.
