In an area or a country the main reasons that account for population explosion are:
(i) Increase in Birth Rute: The increase in birth rate causes rapid population growth.
(ii) Decrease in Mortality: The death rate has decreased and birth rate. Has increased due to improvement in medical jacilities, awarness, etc.
(iii) High Rate of Reproduction: In women the ability to reproduce starts from 13.-15 years of age and persists for about 32 years.
(iv) Early Marriages: Child marriage contributes to higher total fertility.
(v) Less Awarness: Social Level-The social stigma about girl child and desire to have boy child.
(vi) Illiteracy and Social Customs: Due to illiteracy people are unaware about the efferts of over population moreover they are unaware about birth control methods. They follow the social custom of giving birth to their own child and are not ready to adopt a child.
