What do you mean by a precipitation reaction? Explain by giving examples.

  • For example,
  • (i) $\mathrm{AgNO}_3(\mathrm{aq})+\mathrm{NaCl}(\mathrm{aq}) \rightarrow \mathrm{AgCl}(\mathrm{s})+\mathrm{NaNO}_3(\mathrm{aq})$
