Democracies also ensure the process of transparency in decision making. Any individual can question the decisions made by a ruler or government and check whether it is beneficial for the country or not.
The democratic government is an accountable government as it is accountable to the citizens for every decision made by them which can affect the interest of the people. It is the most basic outcome of democracy.
