Answer

Double fertilization is a complex fertilization mechanism of flowering plants. It was first discovered by serger Nawaschin in 1898.
In the process of double fertilization one male gametes fusion with the egg to form zygote and the second male gametes fuses with the two polar nuclei on the secondary nucleus to form triploid primary endosperm nucleus. Therefore it is also called triple fusion.
Fusion of male nucleus and egg to form zyogte and fusion of another male nucleus with secondary nucleus to form primary endosperm nucleus.
