The gradual increase in temperature of Earth's atmosphere is called global warming. Excess of carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, water vapour is responsible for global warming. Global warming can cause sea levels to rise dramatically. It could result in wide-ranging effect on rainfall patterns, agriculture, forests, plants, human beings and animals. It could also lead to fast melting of glaciers.
