When chromatids fail to segregate all division cycle it leds to mutation or aneuploidy occurs. This can cause chromosomal disorder in humans. Like down's syndrome (trisomy of 21st chromosome) and Klinefelter's syndrome (presence of an additional copy of Xchromosome resulting in the karyotype of 47, XXY in males or XXX in females).
