Limbic system : Limbic system is found on the lower border of the cerebrum and the posterior floor of the forebrain. It is also called the emotional brain or animal brain. It is made up of the following structures, such as amygdala, hippocampus etc.
Function of Limbic system : It, along with the hypothalamus, controls sexual behaviour, expression of emotions, such as excitement, happiness, anger, fear, attraction, displeasure, grief, liking, submission, contemplation, etc.
