Question
What is lymph? Write down four differences between $T$ cells and $B$ cells.

Answer

Lymph : Lymph is the fluid that does not reach every part and organ of the body through blood cells. It only reaches the interstitial spaces between tissue cells by oozing through the walls of capillaries made of endothelium (which is formed from the endothelium layer), consisting mainly of plasma and white blood cells, leaving behind red blood cells. This leaked fluid is called lymph.

4. Their lifespan is around 3-4 years. Antibodies remain alive for only a short period.

Radha's father who is a diabetic patient does not avoid food items doctor has told him in diet. He also feels lazy to go for a walk. One day, his glucose level was checked by his doctor. The doctor advised him to take injections regularly, as he was not able to control his diabetes with diet and medication. He came home and while telling the things to Radha's mother, Radha (biology student) heard them and interrupted in between. She explained that, doctor has given insulin injections to control his blood glucose level. This may be discontinued, if he will take precautions in his daily routine.

Amrita's biology teacher taught in biology class that food helps in building the body and alsoprovides us energy to work. However, she was not able to understand the mechanisms involved.
So, she discussed it with his father who is a professor of biology in a college. He answered that in living organisms certain structures, present in the cells and known as power houses of cells, which are responsible for conversion of food into energy.
