Pollination is the process of transfer of pollen grains from the anther to the stigma.The two modes of pollination are:
  1. Self pollination: it is the transfer of pollen grains from the anther to the stigma of the same flower.
  2. Cross pollination: it is the transfer of pollen grains from the anther of one flower to the stigma of another flower of a different plant of the same species.
