Naturalistic observation is a research method in which behaviour is studied in the settings where it usually occurs.
The observer makes no effort to control or manipulate the situation.
It is applied to human behaviour in natural settings like hospitals, airports, hotels, schools, etc; it applies to the animal behaviour as well.
