The patterns of unequal access to resources are called social inequality:
  • Social inequality is not the consequence of natural destructiveness and variations between people. These are produced by the society.
  • Some people in the society are at a hunger level in terms of money, property education, knowledge, health and honour while others at the lowest level, it is called social inequality.
  • It may get manifested in three forms of resources i.e., economic capital money, cultural capital states and social capital contacts.
  • These three forms of capital do overlap.
