Question
What is the difference between civilization and culture?

Answer

Culture means the customs, ideas, belief, philosophy and religion of a particular society of a country. Civilization means a society which has its own highly developed culture and way of life. Both the terms are closely inter-related. There-fore the difference between both of them is quite evident such as (i) Civilization is the organisation of society, which creates the condition of culture. (ii) There may be civilization in the places which have not yet developed their culture. (iii) Culture is the bright radiant light of civilization. Therefore, we cannot think of culture without civilization.
