The main remedies to prevent soil erosion are as follows :(1) To control grazing activity on the land.(2) Sowing should be done by contour method on the sloping land.(3) Trees should be planted on the fallow land.(4) Check-dams should be built wherever there is a depression formed due to the flow of water.(5) Deep cultivation should be carried out on the slopes of the farms to slow down the flow of water.(6) Embankments should be built around the farm to prevent soil erosion and trees should be planted. These embankments prevent the farm soil being drifted away by water out of the farm.
