→ Towards the end of the 15th century the Netherlands established colonies in South Africa.
→ Thereafter England established Cape Colony in South Africa and France established colony in Algeria in North Africa.

→ England established its control over Egypt some parts of East Africa as well as Natal and Transvaal in South Africa.
