Glucagon is secreted by the $\alpha -$ cells of islets of langerhans of pancreas. Its main fuction is to increase blood glucose level. Adrenaline (epinephrine) is secreted by adrenal medulla. It increases the rate and force of heart beat. Thyroid gland secretes thyroxine that regulates basal metabolic rate.
