  1. Maulvi Ahmadullah Shah played very significant role in the revolt of 1857. He was known as, 'Danka Shah'.
  2. He moved in a palanquin drum beaters in front and the followers at the veer. He used to preach ‘Jehad' against the British and urged people to rebel.
