Why did Indians Boycott the Simon Commission? How It was greeted on its arrival?

Indians boycotted the Simon Commission for several significant reasons. The commission consisted entirely of British members with no Indian representative was one of the reasons. It was headed by Lord Simon to decide India's political future. 
Simon Commission arrived in India in 1928. It was greeted with black flags and slogans like 'Simon Go Back'. Both Congress and Muslim League unitedly protested against it.
