  1. Khadi cloth was more expensive.
  2. Poor people could not afford to buy it.
  3. It was very difficult for them to boycott mill made cloth.
  4. There was not a alternative arrangement for education.
  5. Students and teachers began trickling back to government schools.
  6. Lawyers also joined back work in courts.
