Question
Why distillation is required for the production of certain alcoholic drinks?

Answer

Production of various alcoholic drinks depends upon the type of raw material used in fermentation. It also depends upon the processing method distillation or without distillation. Wine and beer are produced without distillation while whiskey, brandy and rum are produced by distillation of fermented batter.
