Why do we call our heart myogenic?

A 'myogenic' heart regulates the normal processes of the heart temporarily by self-regulation through 'pacemaker' cells (nodal cells), which is why we call the heart 'myogenic'. The myogenic heart's functioning is not related to the nervous system.
