We don't see the Moon falling towards the Earth because it is in orbit around the Earth. The Moon is constantly moving forward with a high speed while simultaneously being pulled toward the Earth due to gravity. This results in the Moon continuously falling toward the Earth but also moving forward enough that it keeps missing the Earth, thus staying in orbit. This balance between the gravitational force pulling the Moon inward and the centripetal force due to its orbital motion prevents it from falling directly into the Earth.
