Raju was called greedy because he always wanted more and never shared his food with others. He was never satisfied with what he had and only cared about keeping things for himself. His greed grew when he found a magical carrot and wished for a huge carrot garden to keep all the carrots for himself. This selfishness made him lonely and sad, as he realized that having everything to himself wasn’t as fulfilling as sharing with others.
