Revolt in Erinpura :
On August 21, 1857, revolt began in Erinpura. The Jodhpur legion started the revolt under the leadership of Moti Khan, Subedar Sheetal Prasad and Tilak Raj. As per the orders of the revolutionary leaders , they marched towards Delhi, shouting slogans of 'Chalo Delhi, Maro Firangi'. Thakur Kushal Singh of Auva met these soldiers on the way and took them with them to Auva.
