Casteism is when the pressure and influence of a caste is sometimes misused for the purpose of satisfying the interests of the caste or when it is done in favor of one's own caste.
Caste is the social system of Indian society.
The innate status that a person gets is caste.
Indian society is a society of high and low order.
The English education system and industrialization during the British rule resulted in a significant reduction in caste discrimination in urban areas.
Since independence, the constitution has provided for fundamental rights.
Which has resulted in a change in the form of caste.
Before independence, the lower castes tried to consider themselves higher.
But, even the upper castes are agitating for their backwardness in order to get the constitutional benefits. Haryana-Jat movement, Rajasthan-Gurjar movement, Gujarat-Patidars movement etc.
In a democracy, racism, narrow-mindedness leads to the collapse of the values of democracy.
Caste barracks neglect the ideals of equality.
As well as hurts the spirit of brotherhood.
If the spirit of racism prevails, it harms the spirit of the nation.
