Controlling is that managerial function through which an entrepreneur tries to implement his/her company's policies and also takes needed steps or corrective measures if a particular work has not been done, the way it should be. This has a chain of functions including establishing standards of performance, measuring actual performance, comparing the actual performance with the needed, etc.
