  • The grand temples of Khajuraho, built by Chandela kings are very attractive.
  • Presently, only $25$ temples exist out of the $80$ temples built.
  • They are made of granite.
  • The 64 Yoginis temple is the main temple.
  • The ‘toran’ (arch) of the temple is the best example of the ornamental style of architecture.
  • Khajuraho temples have been divided into the groups of East, West and South zones.
  • The other temples are Lagna Mahadev,Parvati, Laxman, Parshwanath, Duladev and Chatarbhoj.
