Answer
Cultural Heritage of India:
Cultural heritage is a man-made heritage. India has a diverse and rich cultural heritage.
Whatever is received or created by humans with skill, wisdom and art is called cultural heritage.
Indian culture has been enriched through exchange from many tribes that came to India like the Aryans, Kushans, Huns, Kshatraps, Arabs, Mughals, Turks and even the Europeans like the British and the French.
Our cultural heritage has been contributing to the world since pre-historic period.
The art of architecture and sculpture of India is 5000 years old and the remains of Indus Valley Civilization are an evidence of this like idols, sculpted figure of man with a heard, a metallic figure of a woman dancer, various figures of Gods and Goddesses, animals and toys.
We also have the sculptures of a bullock or a lion on an inverted lotus from the Mauryan Era, the statues of Jain tirthankars, the idols in the caves of Ellora built of Rashtrakuta dynasty.
This uniqueness makes us proud of our heritage.
Our cultural heritage also includes architectural monuments like palaces, buildings, sculptures, stupas, viharas, chaityas, temples, mosques, tombs, forts and gates.
Even historical places of our freedom movement like Sabarmati Ashram, Dandi, Delhi, Shantiniketan are a part of our cultural heritage.
Language, script, literature, art, science, mathematics and religion are also a part of our cultural heritage.
