Let a1 = a = 6
Since, the common difference d = – 3
Using formula an + 1 = an + d
Thus, a2 = a1 + d = 6 + ( – 3) = 6 – 3 = 3
a3 = a2 + d = 3 + ( – 3) = 3 – 3 = 0
a4 = a3 + d = 0 + ( – 3) = – 3
Hence, An A.P with common difference – 3 is 6, 3, 0, – 3…
Since, the common difference d = – 3
Using formula an + 1 = an + d
Thus, a2 = a1 + d = 6 + ( – 3) = 6 – 3 = 3
a3 = a2 + d = 3 + ( – 3) = 3 – 3 = 0
a4 = a3 + d = 0 + ( – 3) = – 3
Hence, An A.P with common difference – 3 is 6, 3, 0, – 3…
