According to Prof. Alfred Wagner, the pioneer of continental theory, in ancient times there was only one continent on the earth's surface known as the continent. The land mass to the south of this primitive continent is called "Godwanaland". It included the territories of Australia, Antarctica, South India, as well as Africa and South America.
