In this account itself, the particulars regarding the amount lent, period for which itis lent, the Miti on which the money is lent, rate of interest the asset mortgaged etc. areshown. Below these particulars, the necessary Revenue Stamp is affixed and on it the customer'ssignature is taken. Thus, this Khatavahi serves the purpose of both a ledger (khatavahi) anda receipt for the money lent serves :
