Functions of Androgens:
1. These hormones stimulate the growth and functions of the epididymis, vas deferens, seminal vesicles, and the prostate gland.
2. Development of facial hair, beard growth, deepening of voice, body hair growth, and strengthening of bones and muscles in males are all influenced by these hormones.
3. These hormones also impact the skin of male animals, leading to a reddish complexion and increased skin strength.
4. These hormones increase the basal metabolic rate by 5-10%.
