Write the definition of turbulent flow.

Answer

When the velocity of flow of a liquid is more than the critical velocity, then the movement of particles in the liquid flow ceases to be systematic and becomes irregular zig-zag and eddy current are generated inside the liquid. This type of flow of liquid is called turbulent flow.
