Difference between maximum and minimum values of

$\sin^{-1}\text{x}=\frac{\pi}{2}-\Big(-\frac{\pi}{2}\Big)$

$=\frac{\pi}{2}+\frac{\pi}{2}$

$=\pi$

The required difference $=\pi.$
