The measures to prevent land pollution are as follows :
$(1)$ The use of plastic and chemicals should be done only if necessary.
$(2)$ If possible, use the non-productive land for the construction of factories, industries and settlements.
$(3)$ In agriculture, use of organic and indigenous fertilizers and green manure should be used instead of chemical fertilisers.
$(4)$ Thc insecticides to kill insects and worms should be used only when necessary.
$(5)$ The solid waste should be sorted out and it should be reused.
$(6)$ Instead of throwing away the useless plastic and solid waste on land, it should be burnt or should be recycled and re-used if possible.
$(7)$ Systems of drip irrigation and sprinklers should be used in agriculture.
