Question
Write the next term of the $\text{AP}\sqrt{2},\sqrt{8},\sqrt{18},....$

Answer

The given AP is $\sqrt{2},\sqrt{8},\sqrt{18},....$
On simplifying the terms, we get :
$\sqrt{2},2\sqrt{2},3\sqrt{2},....$
Here, $\text{a}=\sqrt{2}$ and $\text{d}=(2\sqrt{2}-\sqrt{2})=\sqrt{2}$
$\therefore$ Next term, $\text{T}_4=\text{a}+3\text{d}=\sqrt{2}+3\sqrt{2}=4\sqrt{2}=\sqrt{32}$
