Write the physical properties of ethanoic acid.

The physical properties of ethanoic acid (acetic acid) are as follows:
$(1)$ Ethanoic acid is a colourless liquid having vinegar like odour.
$(2)$ The boiling point of pure ethanoic acid is $391 \ K.$
$(3)$ The melting point of pure ethanoic acid is $290 \ K$ and hence it often freezes during winter in cold climates. Therefore, it is also known as glacial acetic acid.
$(4)$ $5-8 \%$ solution of ethanoic acid in water (aqueous solution) is called vinegar.
$(5)$ Ethanoic acid is a weak acid; but hydrochloric acid is a strong acid as it ionises completely.
