The members can ask questions and supple-yo mentary questions to elicit information from the ministers regarding their departments.
They can bring about discussion on the a important/urgent matters by presenting the Adjournment Motion’ (whereby the business on the agenda is suspended for the time being.)
They can pass a ‘Vote of Censure’ against incompetent /corrupt minister and for the lapses of his department.
They can force the Council of Ministers by passing a vote of no-confidence.
