Answer
View full question & answer→Quantity of Carbon in chalk stick $=3 \mathrm{~g}$
Let the weight of chalk be $x \mathrm{~g}$, then, $12 \%$ of $x=3$
$
\Rightarrow \quad \frac{12}{100} \times x=3 \quad \Rightarrow \quad x=\frac{3 \times 100}{12}=25 \mathrm{~g}
$
Hence, the weight of chalk stick is $25 \mathrm{~g}$.
