Answer
I first came across origami in a cartoon.
In the show, children were showing their origami to their teacher. At that time, I thought it was just imagination and not real. I was in Class 1 at that time. In class 2, I got to know that origami is real and we can make this paper art. Our school had organised an arts and craft workshop for all of us. In that workshop, the teacher showed us some very beautiful designs using origami paper.
I saw a rose, a butterfly and even a rabbit. How wonderful! The entire show was amazing. Later, I talked to my art teacher about it. She told me that she could teach me how to make origami.
I agreed and the first thing I made was a paper boat. When I showed it to my parents, they praised me and encouraged to learn it. Now, I am learning how to make different things from origami and I enjoy every bit of it.
